Can PLA straws replace paper straws?

At present, V1BIO launched the best environmentally friendly alternative material called PLA.

The “Plastic Restriction Order” began to be implemented in the country, which means that the plastic straws in restaurants and milk tea stores will be banned, many restaurants have started to use paper straws, but many consumers complain that the paper straws are poor in taste and soft, for many businesses, the use of paper straws also increases the cost, and paper straws in the manufacturing process. There is no material that can replace plastic straws and degrade in the natural environment without damaging the environment PLA will replace traditional plastics

At present, V1BIO launched the best environmentally friendly alternative material called PLA, which is a biodegradable plastic straws can be extracted from corn starch, PLA is the traditional lactic acid fermentation using lactic acid as raw material, most use starch as raw material, and then use lactic acid to produce PLA, the specific production process is to crush corn, from which the starch is extracted, and then the starch is made into unrefined glucose, and then the production of alcohol in a similar way to the production of alcohol. The glucose is then fermented in a manner similar to the production of alcohol, and the glucose is fermented and turned into lactic acid similar to a food additive, and the lactic acid monomer is made in a special concentration to process the material.

PLA has many applications and is widely used in automotive, disposables, electronics, biomedical and other fields. PLA straws used in the food service industry now degrade into water and carbon dioxide in 45 days under compostable conditions.
