Biodegradable cups are usually made of corn starch. Unlike styrene, plastic and paper cups, biodegradable cups can decompose in nature after 6 months. Because biodegradable cups are made from renewable resources such as corn starch, they are considered an environmentally friendly product.
This product is produced in many countries. The technology used to manufacture biodegradable cups is almost the same as plastic cups, but the formulation is different. Biodegradable cups have the highest share of sales in the biodegradable tableware market.
